Chrysa Chin was named Executive Vice President, Strategy and Development for the National Basketball Players Association in December 2014.
Chin directs the strategic implementation of player initiatives and innovative programs designed to foster relationships between players and businesses. She works alongside the Executive Director and the Executive Committee to rebuild and restructure the union with a strong focus on player engagement and development.
An accomplished advisor, mentor and trailblazer, Chin has crafted a distinguished career supporting the personal and professional development of basketball players for over 20 years. Guided by the principles of “Empower, Enlighten and Uplift,” she has played an active role in assisting players to reach their maximum potential on and off the court.
Chin served on the steering committee of the Athlete Development Summit, where development specialists share successful techniques and methodologies to enhance their skills, and several advisory boards.
Chin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from William Smith College. She resides in New York City and Atlanta. Chin is the proud bonus mom for Joel and Ian.
