Books and Ball
Athletics are very important for students. Engaging in athletics promotes physical health, builds teamwork and leadership skills, enhances discipline and contributes to overall mental health.
The NBWA’s Books and Ball initiative supports the academic and athletic needs of student-athletes in high school as they pursue their educational goals and prepare for the next stage of their lives. The NBWA provides funding to support SAT/ACT preparation, tutoring and academic assistance, credit recovery and other academic needs of the students.
The 2024 Books and Ball recipient is Warren Central High School
