Mission
The National Basketball Wives Association (NBWA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2005 by a group of wives and significant others of basketball players in the United States. NBWA’s mission is to provide support, resources, and networking opportunities for the wives of current and former NBA players as well as to give back to the community through various charitable initiatives.
The NBWA has grown significantly since its founding with over 150 members from across the United States and Canada.
During the NBA All-Star Weekends, the NBWA utilizes its platform and voice to raise funds for charitable organizations that are making a difference in their communities. The NBWA also hosts its annual women’s empowerment initiative to bring together and honor powerful influencers in corporate, nonprofit, sports and entertainment and the philanthropic industries.
