Sabrina E. Galloway is the Chief Strategist and Co-Founder of The Galloway Group, a multifaceted enterprise that serves as the umbrella for several businesses, a non-profit and real estate holdings.Sabrina’s keen ability as a consensus builder, strategist, innovative thinker and communicator have helped to catapult the off the court endeavors of she and her husband, Langston, into viable business partnerships across a cross-section of areas in the marketplace.
Hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Sabrina developed a strong background in the faith, political and non-profit sectors at an early age. In 2014, she received a bachelor’s degree in history pre law from Loyola University New Orleans and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in leadership and management from Tulane University in 2018.Sabrina’s expertise has allowed her to fundraise and manage multiple political campaigns and serve on the highest levels of Democratic politics in Louisiana.
Galloway’s background in public service has served as a natural fit in the establishment and furtherance of the Langston Galloway Foundation, which serves as the cornerstone of the Galloway’s philanthropic efforts. The foundation has grown to impact youth in multiple cities with the message and resources to enrich the athletic and youth experience through sports training, nutritional health, socio-economic uplifting and academic empowerment.
Sabrina has taken her unique experiences and expertise to help influence the millennial generation of women to be best version of themselves by maximizing their gifts and talents at home, in business and in the social sphere.
When Sabrina is not assisting her husband, Langston, with his professional and personal endeavors or being a loving mother to her son, Langston II, you can find her managing all things Seaux Sab. Seaux Sab recently launched a blog that seeks to empower and gather women around life’s challenges and triumphs.

Prior to opening her own brokerage, Tomi served four years as the Senior Vice President of Sports & Entertainment at Douglas Elliman, a brokerage that closes 26 billion dollars in transactions per fiscal year. Tomi has been notably recognized by Wall Street Journal, Forbes, People, The Real Deal, NBC, ESPN and won numerous awards including Billboard Music: Top 15 Real Estate Agents. She serves as one of NBWA’s longest serving founding executive directors and board member. This is her sixth year as Vice President and visionary behind the Books and Ball program.

Katelyn was born and raised in Canada, she is an accomplished, Entrepreneur, Mother and Non-Profit supporter.
Katelyn is a co-owner of First Round Concierge. An international company specializing in curating luxury lifestyle experiences. She is also the founder of Beyond the Jersey, a sports and luxury lifestyle management company based in Toronto that eliminates the distractions for athletes and trainers so that their focus can be the pursuit of excellence. A large part of the pursuit of excellence is instilling the value of giving back to the community and assisting clients in their philanthropic efforts. She works with athletes to develop life off the court, as well as helping them to maintain an all encompassing positive and healthy lifestyle.
Katelyn is also the Director of Development for the Weems World Foundation. Katelyn has long dedicated herself to ensuring her life’s work is in service to those most vulnerable and as a voice for those in need. Weems World has offered her the opportunity to combine this work with her love of sports. Katelyn has volunteered with various organizations including, the United Way, City Centre Baptist Church, Grey Cup, March of Dimes, and Scotiabank’s Bright Future. Volunteering her time, assisting with fund development and campaign design are some of the ways she has engaged with organizations to support her community.
As a mother, Katelyn knows the value of children having the opportunity to develop skills and fall in love with a sports and education. She is passionate about creating the space and opportunity for them where they will be cared for, mentored, educated, and most importantly have fun while learning new skills and embracing their love of self.
Katelyn wakes up each day affirming that each day will be greater than the last. Her strong Christian faith allows her not to worry, to trust God and know that everything has a purpose.

GAIL SEGAL ELMORE

Gail Segal Elmore has 20+ years of experience on Wall Street. After having been sent to Mexico as a troubleshooter in the early part of her career, Gail pivoted from developed world finance to becoming one of the pioneers of the emerging markets business. A Montreal native who grew up speaking French and then later learned Spanish, Gail was the Managing Director for Bank of America’s emerging markets business. For many years, she was the only woman on the board of the Emerging Markets Traders Association. A mother of two sons, Gail ultimately stepped away from Wall Street to actively manage family assets. She and her husband Len met at the University of Maryland where they are actively involved. Gail is on the board of both the University of Maryland System Foundation (System) and the College Park Foundation and is a member of the System investment committee. Gail is a licensed advisor with the Miami-based LW Investment Management (USA) LLC, an investment boutique focused on Latin America. She is also co-founder of wexYa, a company dedicated to educating women about finance.

Mia Wright is a proud Los Angeles, California native- a “show biz kid” that had a notable career in the Entertainment industry as an RCA Recording artist in the early 2000’s with girl group “Before Dark”. Dedicating much of her early life to acting and singing, Mia pursued her collegiate studies at San Diego State University.
Shortly thereafter, Mia met her now husband Dorell Wright and began a new phase of life as she supported Dorell’s 12-year NBA and 3-year European League career across the globe. The couple’s commitment to pouring back into inner-city communities, much like the ones they come from, led Mia & Dorell to establish the family’s non-profit, Wright Legacy Foundation, (co-founded by their brother- NBA Vet Delon Wright), that has awarded over $70,000 in college scholarship funds in partnership with the UNCF, sponsors annual community enrichment events and is home to two of the top AAU basketball programs in California- Team Wright Legacy and Nike EYBL’s Why Not Favorites.
Now, as a serial entrepreneur, business strategist consultant, venture capital investor and Engagement Manager for Swiftarc Ventures, Mia seamlessly maintains the challenging and unique balance between her many roles, with the thread of diversity and inclusion as her foundation.
Mia’s longtime role as founding President & Director of the National Basketball Wives Association, Inc. surged a new energy and level of dedication to philanthropic service in communities nationally and globally. Mia’s vision created the organization’s staple All-Star Weekend event, the Women’s Empowerment Summit, which NBA Commissioner Adam Silver describes as “an event that has already established itself as a vital part of our All-Star festivities.” Under Mia’s leadership, the organization amassed over 150 members, raised over $500,000, developed the Community Love Fest and Books & Ball program serving inner-city high school student athletes and received an unprecedented level of support from the NBA and partner organizations. Tracy Wilson Mourning is a mentor, designer, broad cast journalist, motivational speaker and soon-to-be published author. She is a graduate of Howard University with a major in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Business. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Tracy is a proud resident of the South Florida community.
In 2002,Tracy founded Honey Shine, a Mentoring program that has been fully dedicated to enriching the lives of young girls. The mission of Honey Shine is to encourage the balance of mind, body, and soul in girls and young women, by providing nurturing experiences that not only illuminate the ir paths, but also guides the irdecisions with self-reliance and hope, empowering the ir future. Honey Shine Inc.offers
bi-weekly workshops, after-school programming and a summer camp for girls between the ages of 8-18 with the intent of fostering educational support and positive, enlightening experiences. Honey Shine was created with the sole purpose of educating and supporting girls and women in an effort to prepare them for a bright future filled with endless possibilities. Tracy and the Honey Shine team are currently working to expand the program across the country.
Tracy is also the CEO and founder of TWM by Tracy Wilson Mourning(Honey Child Enterprises,LLC), a life style brand created to encourage women to take time for themselves spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally.This time of personal reflection and devotion is essential to balancing the multi-faceted aspects of being a“Goddess,Soul Mate, Mother and Friend”, all roles that women play ats ometime in their lives, either individually or simultaneously.

Valeisha’s accomplishments have been recognized by Forbes, Glamour, Marie Claire, and Essence.
Valeisha is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University and a North Carolina native, but now splits time between New York City and Los Angeles. She’s married and the mother of two sons.

Together, members of the PAB discuss challenges and engage in social stewardship to encourage the NBWA’s ecosystem of service and commitment to our youth, communities, families and women around the world.

Erin Miller is the Senior Vice President of Operations & Special Events for the National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA), a 501c3 non-profit organization comprised of former professional basketball players of the NBA, ABA, WNBA and Harlem Globetrotters.
Erin joined in the NBRPA in 2012 and is the lead event manager for all NBRPA events, including the NBA All-Star Weekend and the NBRPA’s annual conference, the Legends World Sports Conference. As the event and operations lead for the NBRPA, Erin manages all details of the event planning process, including procuring venues, event conceptualization, programming, budget tracking, venue and vendor management, speaker recruitment, attendee registration, sponsor relations and on-site execution. She also helps activate and fulfill sponsor/donor obligations as lead customer-service representative, ensuring all contracts are fulfilled as leader of proactive customer-service plan.
Prior to joining the NBRPA, Erin gained management experience as a case processor in one of Chicago’s largest bankruptcy/foreclosure law firms. Erin attended the University of Illinois where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and a Masters in Political Studies. Erin is originally from the South West suburbs of Chicago and currently resides in the city.

Dr. Joey-Lynn Bialkowski, is the Program Chair and Director for the Sport & Entertainment Business and Hospitality & Event Management programs (undergraduate/graduate) in the School of Business Administration at Concordia University at both the Michigan and Wisconsin campuses. Professor Bialkowski holds a Bachelors in Sport Management from Brock University in Ontario Canada, a MBA in Sport Administration from Canisius College in Buffalo New York, and currently completing her doctoral degree in Leadership Administration from Concordia University Chicago in Chicago Illinois.
Her passion for empowering and creating professional opportunities for students to develop, both in and out of the classroom, as tomorrow’s industry leaders is immense. Most recently, Professor Bialkowski has procured experiential learning opportunities and partnerships with the National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA), ESPN Wisconsin Sport Awards, Prime Sport, Forbes Five Star Forum at Destination Kohler, COPA America Centenario, College World Series, and Grizzly Sport & Entertainment at the NCAA Final Four (to name a few).
On a personal note, Joey-Lynn’s interests include volunteering for community events such as Christian Women’s Leadership Institute and with Special Olympics, interior design projects, attending sport/entertainment events/festivals, international travel, wine tasting, and hosting family and friends. Chrysa Chin was named Executive Vice President, Strategy and Development for the National Basketball Players Association in December 2014.
Chin directs the strategic implementation of player initiatives and innovative programs designed to foster relationships between players and businesses. She works alongside the Executive Director and the Executive Committee to rebuild and restructure the union with a strong focus on player engagement and development.
An accomplished advisor, mentor and trailblazer, Chin has crafted a distinguished career supporting the personal and professional development of basketball players for over 20 years. Guided by the principles of “Empower, Enlighten and Uplift,” she has played an active role in assisting players to reach their maximum potential on and off the court. Chin served on the steering committee of the Athlete Development Summit, where development specialists share successful techniques and methodologies to enhance their skills, and several advisory boards.
Chin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from William Smith College. She resides in New York City and Atlanta. Chin is the proud bonus mom for Joel and Ian.

With the goal of creating lasting social and personal impact; Alexys and her culturally-connected advisors and partners, provide thoughtful collaboration on strategy, innovative program development and virtual/content production services. A key ingredient in The Kinship’s “secret sauce” is creating spaces where authentic dialogue can thrive, collaboration is the foundation and growth is the goal.
As a certified life coach, with extensive experience in the sports, entertainment and political industries; Alexys coaches and advises leaders in high-profile positions, athletes, creatives and professionals. One of her passions, empowering and inspiring young people of color, is fulfilled by coaching them in ways she was never taught.
Prior to The Kinship, Alexys spent six years at the NBA and was the Senior Director of Player Development. Her work focused on helping over 450 NBA players outside of the game by creating programs and initiatives to enhance their life skills and leadership development. Seen as the “NBA’s Other Coach,” Alexys’ mission was to empower player voices off the court, providing resources, education, and a clear path on how they can engage both in their communities and on a national level as leaders in the social justice movement.
As the NBA’s lead for player engagement around social justice work; Alexys created and hosted the conversation series “Where do we go from here?” as an outlet to discuss collective change after the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. These conversations featured activists like Tamika Mallory and Van Jones, as well as Tamika Palmer, mother of Breonna Taylor. She was also the innovator behind the league’s voter registration initiatives, executing the first ever voter registration drive during the 2018 NBA Summer League. This work continued through the November 2020 presidential election, ultimately achieving a 96% voter registration rate amongst all eligible NBA players.
Before the NBA, Alexys worked as the National Regional Surrogate Director for President Obama’s reelection campaign. There she led the strategy behind some of the biggest names speaking and performing during the campaign trail, including Jay-Z and Jon Bon Jovi. She was also the mastermind behind the creation of various political and social good digital campaigns including Alicia Keys’ “We Are A Powerful Force,” the NFL’s “Gotta Vote,” and Jay-Z’s “The Power of Our Voice,” among others.
Alexys’ earlier professional endeavors were focused in the entertainment industries while living for eight years in Los Angeles, CA. After working multiple roles at NBCUniversal and in A&R at Interscope Records, Alexys tapped into her entrepreneurial spirit. As the co-founder of Q&A Productions, Alexys consulted with athletes and entertainers around brand development, community engagement and event production.
In addition to being a speaker around the intersection of entertainment x culture x social justice; Alexys is a Professional Advisory Board Member for the National Basketball Wives Association and a Board Member for the Hart School of Hospitality, Sport and Recreation Management at James Madison University. She has been recognized as one of 2020’s most powerful women in sports by Slam Magazine, by Adweek as one of the 30 most powerful women in sports in 2019 and profiled by The Network Journal as a 40 Under Forty outstanding young professional.

Jefferey Kominsky is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice and General Liability Practice. Mr.Kominsky is experienced handling commercial disputes and business conflicts including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and civil theft. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Kominsky honed his legal skills while interning for the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington D.C. and the Civil Rights Section of the Office of the Ohio Attorney General.
From 2002 through 2005, Mr. Kominskyinterned with the Minnesota Vikings, reporting directly to former Vikings owner, Red McCombs. Mr. Kominsky’sinterest in sports law/business continued into his studies at law school as the Founder & Chair of the Inaugural Sports Law Symposium at The Ohio State University. He currently serves as South Florida’s Chapter President of the Sports Business & Leadership Association (“SBLA”). SBLA’s charitable goal is to provide children with unique sports experiences and has chapters in Tampa, Denver, Miami, Charlotte, Los Angeles, Jacksonville, Washington, D.C., and Nashville. Jeff is also Regional Captain for the Sports Lawyers Association’s Outreach Committee. He received his undergraduate degree in Organizational Studies from the University of Michigan.
